Jaguar IPACE Retailer Training

During the worldwide launch of the Jaguar I-PACE battery electric vehicle, the race circuit at Portimão was taken over for two months to host a series of VIPs, press, retailers and customers.

As part of this event the observation tower in the centre of the track, badly in need of repair and refurbishment, was converted over the course of a week into a space suitable to host these guests.

On the top floor a fully catered lunch area was designed including an outdoor seating area so the guests could enjoy the Portuguese sunshine during lunch.

On the floor below a lounge environment was installed using temporary walling, along with refreshment stations, a full audio system and relay screens to show track and event information from a centralised server hosted elsewhere on the circuit.

In the basement, the parking garage was converted to create a space styled as a residential kitchen / garage.

To facilitate guest movement and identify staffing requirements, I designed and installed internal IP-based CCTV and digital signage systems along with the fibre-based network infrastructure, across the entire circuit site and nearby hotel, needed to support both the event and the significant guest internet needs.
